Onegini BV will receive first Secure Software Certificate.
Woerden, October 29, 2015 - Onegini will be the first company to receive a secure software certificate for its platform that enables organizations to develop secure mobile apps for its clients, such as banking apps. This certificate proves that Onegini produced safe source code during all phases of the software development process.
Secure Software Framework and Foundation
Development of secure software plays a major role in realizing more cybersecurity, according to the National Cyber Security Strategy. Various parties, such as ECP and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, have created the Framework Secure Software during the past two years. This framework focuses on the production of safe source code during all phases of a software development process. The framework has been announced in May 2014 and is hosted by an independent foundation, the Secure Software Foundation. In addition to managing and further developing the Framework Secure Software, Secure Software Foundation also offers opportunities to software development parties to obtain the Secure Software Certificate.
